The CHR-DN80 rotary nut actuator has been designed to move the linear axes of a medium and large-sized machine tool. Specifically, it is a solution that allows the screw to be supported (not rotating) at both ends and to preload it. This is advantageous in terms of transmission rigidity.
To obtain a compact and rational solution, the actuator was designed by integrating the nut seat with the rotor of the direct drive motor. This guarantees reduced overall dimensions, simple assembly for the customer and high rigidity.
The actuator is completed by integrating the following functional units:
• Double row ball bearing, 60° angular contact
• Technai rotor stator with integrated liquid cooling
• High performance inductive encoder
• Rotating distributor for the flange lubrication of the ball screw nut.
